ABOUT US

Yarra Valley Oktoberfest is proudly one of Victoria’s most loved beer festivals, delivered by Melbourne Presents.

Since 2017, we’ve celebrated the Munich inspired festival on the last Saturday in October, in Lilydale, the gateway to the Yarra Valley in Victoria’s outer east.

Yarra Valley Oktoberfest is more than beautifully crafted German beer, it’s a celebration of culture, music, cuisine and is a tradition for many festival goers each year.

Entertaining 1,100 guests in our first year, Yarra Valley Oktoberfest now attracts over 2,000 fans and is proudly a safe, fun, community event.

The event features 12 performers across two stages, with roving entertainment, free drink samples and on-stage competitions.

Yarra Valley Oktoberfest is so much more than a beer festival, it’s a community celebration. Join us on Sat 25 October 2025, we’d love to Prost with you.

We keep the ticket price as low as we can to ensure the event is accessible. In saying that, there are huge costs associated with staging a one day event, that your regular watering hole does not have to cover (security, toilets, medical, furniture hire the list goes on).
